The Fort de Savoie is a superb 17th-century military structure. In the rooms once used by the garrison soldiers, you can immerse yourself in the permanent exhibition “Histoire(s) d’un fort” and “Le récit de Vauban”.
Follow the exhibition mascot Claude Du Puy, a soldier in the time of Louis XIV, as he explores the fort and its history. Educational panels cover a range of themes, including the different stages in the fort’s construction, to whet your curiosity.
The fort regularly hosts festive and cultural events: concerts, shows, theater evenings, conferences, a medieval festival and an escape game!
Please note that the fort may be closed for special events: please contact us before visiting.
Please note that on certain days the fort is reserved for events.
