This is a house of character, with thick walls to keep out the heat. Access is via the park or the street. The ground floor comprises a large entrance hall, three lounges (music, games and reading), an old kitchen (for cooking) and its pantry, a kitchen and a dining room. On the second floor, two double bedrooms (the MP’s bedroom and the Napoleon bedroom), a twin bedroom (the Penitents’ bedroom), a bathroom and toilet. On the intermediate landing, a single room (the Baou de Parou room). On the second floor, a shower room and toilet, a double room (the King’s room) and its adjoining twin room (the Princes’ and Princesses’ room), a double room (the Queen’s room), and a single room (the Asian room). It can easily accommodate 12 guests.
A terrace between the dining room and lounges overlooks one of the village’s prettiest lanes. Chairs and tables are available for lunch in the garden or on the terrace.
