Specialists in canyoning, the bureau des guides de canyon offers you the chance to discover the region through via ferrata and climbing activities in an exceptional setting. Supervised by local guides, we’ll choose the best descents for you.
This team will take you away and share with you rare moments of beauty.
You’ll be able to:
– Explore aquatic canyons, overcome obstacles (jumps, slides, abseils) in a safe, fun environment.
– Learn to climb, and maybe even climb the mythical Verdon walls.
– Climb a via ferrata that cuts a path through the rock.
Canyoning: a fun way to explore the most aquatic and deep canyons, with jumps, swims, slides and abseils.
The fundamental difference between canyoning and aqua-hiking (or whitewater rafting) is that in canyoning, the narrowness of the gorge makes it impossible to “bypass” obstacles.
This activity is suitable for children aged 6 and over.
We offer a wide choice of canyons to suit all water levels: from half-day introductory courses to full-day canyoning.
Climbing: While the Gorges du Verdon are world-renowned for their rock-climbing history, our region has a wide range of rock-climbing sites, including Annot, Aiglun and countless others, where you can express yourself on different types of rock (sandstone, limestone, pelite, etc.) and in different styles: long routes, adventure terrain, introductory cliffs and boulders.
Supervised practice. Courses on offer.
Full-day and half-day services (equipment provided).
