In the magnificent setting of a Tibetan temple, adorned with hangings and sacred objects, during my sessions I invite you to remain within yourself, listening to your breath, as close as possible to your bodily sensations.
The practice of postures will set in motion all the muscles and cells of your body. The sequence of postures will enable you to develop your grounding, strength, tone, flexibility and sense of proprioception. And it will always be the search for balance between effort and comfort (Sukha, in Sanskrit) that will guide our practice – in other words, the right effort, not the search for physical feats!
Whether you’re a beginner or not, we’re sure you’ll find your way … gently.
We look forward to welcoming you!
Namaste.
According to Patanjali’s Yogas Sutras, an age-old text consisting of 195 aphorisms, yoga is “the cessation of mental fluctuations:
Parasitic thoughts, incessant chatter that prevent us from seeing things as they are”.
