When?

Floating is only practiced on days when water is released.

Conditions

You must be able to swim. The guide is present with you during the activity.

Equipment supplied

Float bag, neoprene wetsuit, thermal socks, lifejacket and helmet.

In May, June, September and October, the traffic is much quieter, so you can enjoy your activity in complete peace of mind. Apart from the gentle sound of water and vultures, silence reigns in the Gorges du Verdon. So let yourself be carried away as you admire the panoramas before your eyes. Do you feel this fullness?

More intense whitewater sensations!

In the Verdon’s off-season, higher water levels thanks to melting snow and regular rainfall provide ideal conditions for enjoying our canyons! Count on 30 to 40m³ of water flow released into the river. Sports enthusiasts will be delighted, as the conditions are ideal for whitewater thrills and spills.
