The Maison Musée offers a visit with "La boula", a soldier from the Vaubécourt regiment who came with his company to garrison Colmars under the command of Captain Du Puy. Our soldier will tell you all about village life in Vauban's time.

Plans drawn up by military engineers as early as 1690 reveal elements that are still present today: blocks of houses within the walls, fields and gardens at the foot of the fortifications, roads, paths and a network of water supply canals linked to the moat.
