9:30 am: nature walk led by a mountain guide
Duration 1h one way, from the parking lot to the hamlet – 230m ascent – hiking equipment required
RDV at the Vierge parking lot, on the right just after the fork in the road to Demandolx (route C2).
11am: landscape reading at the hamlet of Ville
12:30 p.m.: picnic at the Notre-Dame de Conches chapel, followed by a sound siesta
2:30pm: historical commentary on the Château de Ville by Florine Bourrat, guide-lecturer, and meeting with the Demandolx-Dedons family, owners of the château.
For those who have difficulty walking, or who don’t wish to take part in the nature walk, it is possible to join the group directly at the hamlet of Ville at 11 a.m. or 2:30 p.m. by taking the track that leaves from one of the last bends in the Demandolx road (“chemin de Ville”). Make sure you don’t park on the road.
