An enchanting walk inviting you to discover a panoramic view of Saint-André-les-Alpes and Lac de Castillon from the statues of the two Saints: Saint-Pierre and Saint-Paul.
From the Tourist Office, take rue de la Gare, then rue du Moulin, and finally chemin de Meouilles. Follow it to a small bridge over the Verdon, cross the bridge, and follow the small path heading south along the Verdon. The first part of this path starts out on a track, which you leave after 300m, to pick up a small path on the right. Follow this southwards for 500m until you come to a crossroads, where you must continue to the left to climb up to a pretty hill of low-lying vegetation. From the top of this hill, admire the view of Lac de Castillon, and the statues of the two saints: Peter and Paul. Begin the descent to the small hamlet of Meouilles, admiring the chapel of Saint-Martin along the way. At Meouilles, turn left onto a track for 200m, leave it to the left and follow the path westwards back to the edge of Lac de Castillon. Return to the village of St André Les Alpes by the same route you took on the outward journey.
